The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters has its headquarters in Vodňany and is divided into two institutes, the Institute of Aquaculture, based in České Budějovice and the Research Institute of Fish Culture and Hydrobiology, based in Vodňany.

HOW TO REACH US:
Arriving in Vodňany
If you arrive by car to Vodňany, you can find us at Dr. Hajného 22, where the faculty temporarily resides. This is a 3-storey building located on the main access road from the direction of Písek and České Budějovice. On the ground floor there is a GE Money Bank. For parking use the parking spaces in adjacent streets (Kodádkova or Staropoštovská). When you use public transport bus stops at the bus station, located approximately 100 meters from our building. The train station is approximately 400 meters from our building. When you exit the train and walk towards Číčenice, turn left at the first intersection. Then you just go straight until you come to our faculty.
Arriving in České Budějovice
If you arrive by car, use the right direction of the GPS coordinates of the Institute of Aquaculture. You can park near the street next to the Institute. If you arrive by coach or train, the easiest way how to get to the Institute of Aquaculture is public transportation which you get on right by the station and which drops you off very close to you the Institute - see the map below.
