In February 2020, thanks to the scholarship programme “One-Month-Grant for university teachers of the Aktion Austria - Czech Republic”, I effectuated one-month research stay at Industrial Mathematics Institute of Johannes Kepler University Linz (in the JKU Science Park). The title of the project was: In Vitro-In Vivo Extrapolation of Drug Metabolism. I am grateful to Priv.-Doz. DI Dr. Stefan Kindermann, the specialist in topics involving the Inverse Problems and Problem Identification, for highly effective collaboration, scientific mentoring and his hospitality as well. We prepared two manuscripts concerning quantitative modeling of XME (Xenobiotic Metabolizing Enzyme) induction and we started to develop the methodology based on Bayesian inference.
