I have conducted a business trip to Norway, Nofima (3.3.-5.3.2020). During the stay, I was given introduction in practical application of fish nutritional requirements in experimental feed formulation for different fish species and experimental designs. Moreover, I was given an introduction to different downstream processing technologies in raw materials production and feed technology at Nofimas Aquafeed Technology Centre including: fish meal and fish oil production (milling, cooking, separation-decanter, dewatering and drying); production and refinement of enzymatic hydrolysates using membrane filtration technologies and aquafeed production by extrusion technology and evaluation of raw material rheological properties and pellet technical properties. The business trip was realized thanks to the Erasmus + program.
