I have completed three months traineeship in Technical University of Dresden, Germany from 01 February to 30th April 2020. I have learnt the technique of Seahorse Extracellular Flux Analyzer and wave software on tilapia sperm. This instrument is used to study cellular energy metabolism by measurement of oxygen consumption rate and extracellular acidification rate in live cells. It was a great opportunity to explore new techniques for investigation of fish sperm energetics which is very useful for my PhD study. I would like to thank Dr. Veronika Magdanz and Prof. Klaus Reinhardt for providing me this opportunity, for the time spent on my training and their valuable comments. I also acknowledge ERASMUS+ program for financial support of the study.
