IEEAIC deals mainly with the following activities:
- Searching and processing of projects from the EU Structural funds and other national and international grants; administrative provision of implemented projects;
- Preparation of marketing plans and strategies at the Faculty;
- Communication with media and promotion of the Faculty;
- Administrative and methodical support in project management;
- Preparation and realization of tender procedure;
- service development and support of external relation;
- Publishing – Bulletin, biennial reports, scientific books, methodics, technologies etc.;
- Preparation and organization of activities related to lifelong learning - conferences, seminars, courses, workshops etc.;
- Provision of promotional and presentation events, such as Fishing Days in Vodňany, Days of Open Doors, etc.;
- Preparation of promotion materials of the Faculty;
- Administration of E-Shop;
- Active search for new contacts and business opportunities for expansion of contract research at the Faculty;
- Conducting business negotiations with customers, preparation business offers and contracts;
- Monitoring of customer requirements on applied research.
With financial support from the Operational Program Environment, the former Brok´s family mill in Vodňany is being reconstructed.
Since 2013, an International Environmental Educational, Advisory and Information Centre of Water Protection Vodňany (IEEAIC) of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, will launch its activities in these new premises. The centre will be focused primarily on the life-long learning, especially in environmental field.
IEEAIC centre will include:
- Large lecture hall for 80 people
- Two classrooms with a capacity of 20 students
- Office for ensuring a permanent counseling services
- Technical background (copy room, dining room, etc.)
- Accommodation with a capacity of 35 people
IEEAIC provides
- Consulting services in the field of water protection, water animals and friendly water management
- Specialized educational courses, seminars, workshops and conferences
- Accommodation and rent (hall, classrooms) including accompanying services
