From 1. 9. to 1. 12. 2017 I passed a foreign internship at the laboratory of Neuroscience and Behavior, The Department of Biological Sciences, Bowling Green State University in Ohio under Dr. Robert Huber supervision. During the internship I became familiar with the technologies and methods which I used to create the concept of an experimental system for recording cardiac activity of crayfish embryos which will serve for experiments in connection with the characterization of their cardiophysiology under the influence of medicaments used in human medicine in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases i.e. beta-blockers. Potential results will be published through articles in scientific journals and will serve as the basis for the dissertation thesis. In addition, I learned about methods that will improve water quality control systems using crayfish as bioindicators. In the near future there is an open path to join projects. The internship was supported by an institutional development program.
