In accordance to currently started project MoBI-aqua: Cross border monitoring of biological invasions as a tool for freshwater biodiversity conservation (project number 100314623, program of cross-border cooperation with Free State of Saxony; Hallo Nachbar. Ahoj Sousede, Interreg VA/2014–2020), the official kick-off meeting was held at Technische Universität Dresden (Lead partner) on 17th January 2018. FFPW USB was represented by Miloš Buřič, Bořek Drozd, Jiří Koleček and Radek Gebauer. The main goals of the meeting were to introduce project to all interested organisations and institutions) and to discuss topics solved by project. The invitation was also accepted by colleagues from the cooperating state enterprise Povodí Labe. The project team meeting took place day after with special interest on planning and coordination of project activities. After the lecture was given by M. Buřič for students and employees of Institut für Hydrobiologie about crayfish species and their effect on aquatic ecosystems.
