INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

WHEN: 27th June 2022 - 22nd July 2022

The Summer School is a four-week course for University students - BSc., MSc., Ph.D. students within which you are involved in a small research project, working in very well-equipped laboratories under the guidance of experienced researchers of the FFPW USB.

The work in laboratories is supplemented by excursions to fish farms and visits to other interesting places, such as the Český Krumlov town (http://www.ckrumlov.info/docs/en/kaktualita.xml), the Třeboň town (http://www.mesto-trebon.cz/), Fishery in Třeboň Hld. Inc. (http://rybarstvi-trebon.czechtrade.us/trebon-carp) Fishery in Nové Hrady (http://www.rybarstvinovehrady.cz/) and many other interesting places in the Czech Republic.

The International Summer School is supported by the budget of the Faculty of Fisheries and ProtectionThe International Summer School is supported by the budget of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protectionof Waters USB and the budget for development of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

If the situation, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, would not allow conducting the ISS 2022 program according to the plan, the event will be cancelled, and the fee refunded.

The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, condemns invading Ukraine by Russian Federation. As a part of public higher education, the Faculty subscribes to the principles of democracy, freedom and support for the inviolability of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. In line with the restrictions on citizens of the Russian Federation and Belarus (non-issuance of visas, limited transport connections), these students will not be considered for any Summer School project.
