New European project AQUASERV

The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters USB is a partner of the new European infrastructure project AQUASERV - Research Infrastructure Services for Sustainable Aquaculture Fisheries and the Blue Economy.

The project is coordinated by the Portuguese Algarve Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) and involves 34 European partners.

The main aim of the project is to enable transnational access to the infrastructures of the project partners incl. financing of travel reimbursements.

The FFPW USB is involved in the project across faculty workplaces and we are expected to enable the implementation of 19 TNA projects with a total duration of 98 weeks spent at 5 involved installations.

The responsible researcher for the FFPW USB is Dipl.-Ing. Petr Císař, Ph.D.

The implementation of the AQUASERV project will last for 5 years, i.e. until March 2029.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s HORIZON Research and Innovation Actions under grant agreement N° 101131121. This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
