The Vltava River Basin, a state-owned enterprise, continues the best traditions and experience of Czech water management. The aim is to improve the possibilities of versatile use of surface and groundwater in the entire hydrological basin of the Vltava so that it remains an important place for a healthy environment and a full human life. In addition to traditional domestic fish, the company produces ornamental fish and sturgeon. It also runs hunting and sport fishing. Čedok is the oldest brand of a Czech travel agency operating on the market continuously since 1920. The abbreviation Čedok (Czechoslovak Travel and Transport Agency) was first used by the company in 1926 and it suddenly became a symbol of innovation and success. Already in the 1920s, Čedok established a tradition of traveling Czech tourists on the Dalmatian coast. In the mid-1930s, it established a strong position on the domestic travel services market as a reliable partner for foreign tourists heading to the Czechoslovak Republic and provided currency exchange services, including the sale of all types of tickets. From nationalization in 1948 until 1989, Čedok was built as a state monopoly of tourism. A major turning point in the company's history did not occur until the end of 1995, when the Unimex Group became the majority owner of Čedok. A new era of Čedok has begun, characterized by the transformation into a modern, completely customer-oriented travel agency. At the end of 2007, the majority shareholder was changed to ODIEN Group, a strong investor from the United States. ODIEN acquired a 98% stake in Čedok from Unimex.

 

The company Alcedor, s.r.o. was founded in 1999 and deals with the breeding and import of KOI carp from Japan, the production and sale of fish feed, the design and implementation of garden tank filtration, the sale of accessories for filtration and fish handling.
