study at the faculty?
To the follow-up master study programme Fishery and Protection of Waters (taught in English) and to doctoral study programmes you can apply from October 1, 2024.
To the follow-up master study programme Fishery and Protection of Waters (taught only in Czech) and to bachelor study programmes Protection of Waters and Fishery (both taught only in Czech) you can apply by August 1, 2024.
Rules for
admission procedure
1. From October 1, submit your e-application but no later than December 31, 2024.
2. Pay a fee of CZK 700.
4. Don't forget the attachments:
- certificate of completation of bachelor study
- CV and cover letter
5. Wait for the results of the admission procedure.

4. Don't forget the attachments:
- bachelor study programmes - secondary school reports and certificate of completion of secondary education
- follow-up master study programmes - certificate of completation of bachelor study
- CV and cover letter
5. Wait for the results of the admission procedure.
2. Choose your topic of doctoral thesis (topics will be announced by February 23, 2024):

3. Contact the supervisor of the topic.
4. In case of a mutual deal complete the e-application to study, no later than December 2, 2024.
5. Pay a fee of CZK 700.
6. Deliver to us:
- Listing of marks and credits from passed subjects of Bachelor’s and Master ́s study confirmed by the Study Office of the university (Higher Education Institution)
where the student studied. - An original or an officially certified copy of a diploma of completed Master ́s or higher study.
- Brief structured curriculum vitae containing details about the achieved education, expert or scientific and research activities, list of publications and lectures or reviews of expert activities.
- Cover letter giving reasons for interest in studying a Doctoral study programme (DSP) at the FFPW USB and explaining the choice of a Ph.D. thesis topic and a brief idea of a method or a procedure of handling the selected Ph.D. thesis topic.
- Topic of your bachelor and diploma thesis.
- Positive statement of the supervisor.
