- Generally any university in Europe that offers study programmes related to fishery or protection of waters. For example:
- Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin – Germany
- West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szcecin – Poland
- University of Zagreb, Faculty of Agriculture – Croatia
- Nord University – Norway
- Universidad de Alicante – Spain
- University of Bergen – Norway
- University of Dubrovnik – Croatia
- Wageningen University & Research – Netherlands
- Universidade do Algerve – Portugal
- University of Stirling – Great Britain
- Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Ghent University – Belgium
- Traineeship for students - 2 months or more
- Traineeship for graduates - up to 2 months
- Monthly scholarship amounting to EUR 690 - 810
- Students who wish to apply for an internship need to find a company abroad that offers Erasmus+ internships
- In case of graduate traineeships, it is necessary to complete all the necessary documents before graduation

Students of full-time and combined studies at the Faculty of Fisheries and Water Conservation at JU can travel for up to 12 months during their studies under the Erasmus+ programme.

selection procedure
Each spring, the FFPW USB Foreign Relations Office announces a call for research fellowships and internships for the following academic year.
In the candidate selection process, the following criteria are taken into consideration:
- Grade average (students only)
- Acquired language competence documented by a language certificate
- A cover letter
