Excursion with Master's students, Czech Republic – Germany on 6th to 9th November 2023

From 6^th to 9^th November 2023, a four-day excursion was realized with Master's students for the subject “Culture of Salmonids”.

A total of 11 different fish farms, fisheries, fish hatcheries, organizations, ponds, aquaponics, RAS, fish processing objects, buildings, water structures, fish shops and restaurants, exhibitions, etc. The program also included a tasting of fish specialities (blue carp, Aischgrund carp, etc.).

A total of five facilities were visited in the Czech Republic: ČRS MO Husinec, Pstruhařství Annín – Klatovské rybářství a.s., Ryby Vlček in Bečov nad Teplou, Blatenská ryba, spol. s.r.o., and Bolevecké ponds in Pilsen. A total of six facilities were visited in Germany: fishery training centres and farms in Lindbergmühle, Hirschaid and Aufsess, as well as a fish pass on the Aisch river, a tropical greenhouse "Tropenhaus Klein Eden" with aquaponics and hydroponics in Tettau, and a family fishery "Fischhof Bächer" with a fish restaurant.
