Report from the business trip to Gdansk, Poland

The researchers and Ph.D. students from the Laboratory of Reproductive Physiology, Laboratory of Intensive Aquaculture, Laboratory of Germ Cells, and Laboratory of Molecular, Cellular, and Quantitative Genetics attended the “8^th International Workshop on the Biology of Fish Gametes” in Gdansk, Poland, from 20^th to 23^rd September 2022. Many delegates, scientific researchers, and budding researchers participated in this conference and shared their knowledge and research findings in the field of fish gamete biology through oral and poster presentations. The two Ph.D. students of our faculty, M.Sc. Rigolin Nayak, and M.Sc. Essaikiammal Sodalai Muthu Konar were awarded the first prizes in oral and poster presentations. Congratulations to them!

A friendly event called “Student’s Reception” was arranged for all the student participants to discuss their research. An excursion to Malbork castle followed by a Gala dinner and medieval music made the trip more enthusiastic and enjoyable.
