Final state exams and graduation

To successfully complete a bachelor's or master's degree, it is necessary to write and defend a bachelor's or master's thesis and pass final state exams (SZZ). SZZ usually take place in early June. During the final examination, the student first defends his / her  thesis, and only then are exams followed. The defense and examinations take place in front of a predetermined commission. The commission consists of selected academics from the faculty, but experts from practice may also appear in it too.

Graduation is a solemn ceremony that represents the successful completion of the study. At graduation, a successful graduate receives a diploma, the most skilled, even a red one. The graduation ceremony takes place at our MEVPIS center in Vodňany.
