On 17–19 February 2026, the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters (FFPW), University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice (USB), hosted an international expert workshop organized in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The workshop formed part of the preparation of a strategic scoping review assessing the current state of spatial planning in inland aquaculture and identifying key gaps, needs and future directions.
The scoping review is being led and finalized by Dr. Vlastimil Stejskal and his team at FFPW USB.
