Working internship in Brussels

With the forthcoming six-month internship at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the European Union in Brussels, we completed with my colleague Oldřich Pecha a one-week preparatory internship in the heart of the European Union. Right from the beginning of the week, we ruthlessly jumped into the work process in the offices of the Permanent Representation. We have taken part in many meetings, such as preparatory working groups themselves and of the follow-up meetings in the Justus Lipsius building, which is one of the buildings of the headquarters of the Council of the European Union. Getting involved in the world's top marine fisheries policy in the EU has been a unique experience. We are looking forward to internship for next year, when the Czech Republic will take the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
