The Academic Senate of FFPW USB (hereinafter referred to as AS FFPW USB). The activities of AS FFPW USB are defined by the Higher Education Act, the Statute of USB, the Statute of FFPW USB, the Electoral and Procedural Rules of the Academic Senate of USB (hereinafter AS FFPW USB), and especially by the Electoral and Procedural Rules of the Academic Senate of FFPW USB. Within its powers, AS FFPW USB has both an initiative and a supervisory function.

The term of office of the Academic Senate is three years. If, for any reason, a member's mandate in the Academic Senate ends, a substitute takes their place. If it is not possible to fill the Senate in this way, the Dean will call supplementary elections.

Function period of the academic senate is 3 years. If the membership of any member of the academic senate is abolished for any reason, the alternate member takes his place. In case that the academic senate cannot be supplemented in this way, the dean launches new elections.
