Board of commerce and social relevance of the FFPW USB and CENAKVA

Board of commerce and social relevance of the FFPW USB and CENAKVA (hereinafter BCSR) serves as an independent advisory and evaluation body to the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the South Bohemian Research Center of Aquaculture and Biodiversity of Hydrocenoses (CENAKVA).

BCSR is an advisory body whose main task is to assess the strategy of the faculty and the center in the field of knowledge commercialization and societal relevance. For example, the Council evaluates strategic projects and significant commercialization initiatives, discusses strategic plans, and submits proposals to the faculty and center leadership to improve the efficiency of knowledge commercialization, taking into account social responsibility and sustainability (i.e., the commercial and societal usefulness of research in relation to meeting the needs of current and future generations). BCSR brings together domestic experts from the fields of science and research, the commercial sector, and other prominent entities. BCSR Members are nominated by the Dean in cooperation with the CENAKVA Director and are appointed and dismissed by the USB Rector.

BCSR meetings are convened and chaired by the Dean in cooperation with the CENAKVA Director. The outcome of joint meetings is a set of recommendations formulated by RKSR. RKSR also comments on issues submitted by the Dean or the CENAKVA Director and makes decisions by resolution. RKSR operates in accordance with its Rules of Procedure.
