International Board of the FFPW and CENAKVA (hereinafter IBFC) serves as an independent advisory and evaluation body to the Dean of the Faculty and the Director of the South Bohemian Research Center of Aquaculture and Biodiversity of Hydrocenoses (CENAKVA). IBFC consists of at least seven members and brings together domestic and predominantly international, globally recognized experts in the fields of science and research, management of research centers, or international projects. The members of IBFC elect a Chair and Vice-Chair from among themselves. IBFC members are nominated by the Dean in cooperation with the CENAKVA Director and are appointed and dismissed by the USB Rector. IBFC meetings are convened and chaired by the Dean in cooperation with the CENAKVA Director.
IBFC addresses conceptual issues, particularly the evaluation of the professional level of the Faculty and CENAKVA in relation to their areas of activity. The outcome of joint meetings is a set of recommendations formulated by IBFC. IBFC also comments on issues submitted by the Dean and makes decisions by resolution. IBFC operates in accordance with its Rules of Procedure.
