World Water Day 2024

The theme of this year's  World Water Day was "Water and Peace." The theme was followed by an interactive program for young and older children, during which they retrieved the precious liquid at each station, protected it from a pirate and carried it to the final oasis, where they filled an infusion of water leading directly to the heart of Mother Earth.

Various difficult tasks were prepared at each station and the children had to, for example, overcome an obstacle course with a cup filled with water, find their way through a labyrinth or save important things from a flood. They tried the game "Spel de puck" or discovered the magic of optical illusions at the "Fata morgana" station. The biggest attraction was the camel Šajtan from the Záhostice Camel Farm. At the camel's stand, the children experienced how heavy water can be when carried in buckets on the back.

While the children were competing, the parents could refresh themselves right in the oasis, which was supplied with their goodies by the "Kavárna u Lípy." Approximately 170 people visited the interactive program for families with children at FROV JU on 22^nd March 2024.
