Business trip report, France, Císař and Ziaie

From 14 to 16 September, Petr Císař and Mohammad Mehdi Ziaie installed monitoring equipment for the fully automated estimation of fish biomass in the rearing raceways at the Charles Murgat fish farm in Saint-Barthélemy, France.

A 3D imaging system was installed that can detect individual fish, estimate their actual length and, based on this measurement, calculate their weight.

The project is currently in its initial phase, and the system will now be used to collect data and support further development of the equipment. The objective of the contract is to validate the concept. The company is also interested in submitting a joint project proposal for the further development of the system.
