The 23r^d Fish Immunology and Vaccination Workshop was held by Wageningen University and Research from April 27, 2025, to May 1, 2025. The main objective of the workshop was to enhance participants' knowledge and practical skills in fish immunology and vaccination. Key topics included an introduction to the fish immune system, gut mucosal immunity, antiviral responses, fish vaccination, and hands-on assays in fish immunology, all presented by experts in the field.

The workshop featured interactive Q&A sessions, group activities, and assignments, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with professionals and peers sharing similar interests. Attending this workshop was a valuable experience; I gained practical exposure to the latest tools and techniques used in the field of immunology.

The hands-on sessions were particularly beneficial, allowing us to directly apply what we learned. The workshop was well-organized and highly informative, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will be useful in my academic and professional career.
