From 28 September to 1 October, Petr Císař, Jan Urban, and Mohammad Mehdi Ziaei actively participated in the Aquaculture Europe 2026 conference held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. All three gave presentations in the Precision Aquaculture session.
Jan Urban talked about digital phenotyping in fish telemetry. Petr Císař presented a system that detects pikeperch spawning in real time. Instead of recording video and analysing it later, the analysis runs live on a small Jetson Nano computer. Mohammad Mehdi Ziaei presented work on identifying individual fish from a single reference image.
