LIFE "Living Rivers" - selection of sites on the Bela River for long-term ichthyological and chemical monitoring (T. Randák)

On 28.-31.5. 2023 FROV JU staff T. Randák, P. Lepič, and M. Šindler visited the area where a significant part of the activities of the LIFE "Living Rivers" project will take place - the Bela river basin in the foothills of the High Tatras in Slovakia. Suitable locations for ichthyological and chemical monitoring were selected during the visit, and several coordination meetings were held with project partners and users of the fishing grounds. We also visited the breeding facility of the Tatra Mountains  National Park, which can potentially be used in the project's solution. The start of project activities here is planned for the first half of September 2023.
