During the conference, I presented and discussed my research focused on gene expression patterns in hybrids and polyploid organisms. The work addressed how genome merging and genome duplication can influence gene regulation and gene expression. The presentation was based on a theoretical framework supported by empirical data and aimed to explain commonly observed regulatory patterns in hybrid and polyploid taxa.

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge with international colleagues working on similar topics. I attended scientific sessions, poster presentations, and discussions focused on genome evolution, gene regulation, hybridization, polyploidy, and new methodological approaches in evolutionary biology. These discussions helped place our research in a broader international context and provided useful feedback for the further development of the project.

I also used the conference to establish and strengthen professional contacts with researchers from different institutions. Informal meetings and discussions during the conference created opportunities for potential future collaboration, exchange of expertise, and comparison of approaches used in related research areas
