On 22. 06. 2026, my colleague Dr. Šmejkal (Institute of Hydrobiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic) and I visited Tiergarten Straubing - Bavaria. We consulted with the director Dr. Delling and his colleagues on the possibilities of modifying small water bodies, especially with regard to controlling native fish populations, which is the content of the prepared cross-border project. The meeting was also attended by our colleague Dr. Marco Denič – Landschaftspflegeverband Passau (joint project REWMA – Resilient Water Management).
