From June 24–27, 2026, I participated in the international conference 16th BioDetectors held in Stockholm (Sweden), which focused on the application of bioanalytical methods. During the conference, I delivered an oral presentation on research aimed at detecting in vitro biological activities (activation of the Nrf2/ARE and AhR signaling pathways) in fish tissues collected from surface waters of the River Mulde (Germany) and identifying the chemical substances responsible for these activities. Another objective of my business trip was to discuss ongoing and potential future collaborations with researchers from the Environmental
Protection Agencies (UBAs) of Austria and Germany. I would like to express my gratitude to Research Programme 2 (RVO CENAKVA, Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, University of South Bohemia), whose support enabled me to attend this conference.
