The representatives the Laboratory of freshwater ecosystems visited the 12th international conference about invasive species Neobiota held in Tartu, Estonia from 12th to 16th of September. The conference was attended with more than 250 participants from more than 20 countries. We presented following contributions during the conference: M. Buřič - Hard to deal with: attempts for eradication of marbled crayfish from a small urban pond, D. Kaur – Stress conditions extend the maternal care and juvenile development in invasive crayfish Procambarus virginalis, P. Balzani - Economic costs of invasive species facilitated by canals and the Ponto-Caspianization of the European freshwater aquatic fauna, G. Kor - Nerve regeneration in crayfish, Kifayatullah - Morphological features of hemocytes during early stages of injury in crayfish.
