From February 5 to 7, 2026, I participated in an event organized by FAO in Antalya, Turkey, entitled "Regional Workshop on Seed Supply for Small-scale Aquaculture." At the invitation of the organizers, I gave two lectures on the topics: "Carp seed production and supply in Central European pond aquaculture: Current status and future innovations" and "Pikeperch seed and fingerling production in pond aquaculture in Czechia." The workshop for approximately 30 participants took place within the framework of the CACFish Commission meeting. The entire event took place as part of the Turkish "Aquaculture Expo", a national conference of the Turkish aquaculture sector. It was well attended by professionals (approximately 1,500 participants) and accompanied by an exhibition of various feeds, nutritional supplements, and technologies for fish farming.
