From June 8 to 11, 2026, I attended an event organized by the international organization EUROFISH in Istanbul, Turkey, titled “Processing, Certification, and Trade in the Fisheries and Aquaculture Business.” At the invitation of the organizers, I gave a presentation on the topic: “Experiences with Marketing Fish in the Czech Republic.” The conference, which was co-organized by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, was attended by approximately 120 participants from EUROFISH member and candidate countries. Three other participants from the Czech Republic were invited as guests. Some 20 speakers presented papers on fish processing and marketing. The event was very inspiring and provided numerous ideas for further development and cooperation.
