Erasmus Days at the FFPW USB

On 13 October 2026, the event “Erasmus Through Students' Eyes: First-Hand Experiences” was held at the JU Campus as part of Erasmus Days. The event was intended for students interested in studying abroad and undertaking international traineeships. The programme offered an inspiring opportunity to meet students who shared their first-hand experiences from international mobility programmes.
Daniel Kožiol spoke about his study stay at Nord University in Norway and also introduced the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Scientific Diving Course for researchers, which he completed in Valencia, Spain. Laura Ostolaza Perez-Cruz presented her traineeship at Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix in Belgium. Augusto Frederico Huber talked about his traineeship at Auburn University in the USA. Md Foysul Hossain shared his experience from a five-day professional visit to the Wageningen Institute of Animal Sciences in the Netherlands, while Gyamfua Afriyie presented her traineeship at NOFIMA in Norway.
The individual presentations provided participants not only with valuable insights into studying and gaining professional experience abroad, but also with practical information about everyday life in host countries, overcoming language barriers, and building international networks. The speakers openly shared their experiences, offering valuable inspiration to students considering an international mobility opportunity.
We would like to thank all presenters for their willingness to share their experiences and for their inspiring contributions. We believe that their stories helped to showcase the opportunities offered by international mobility programmes and encouraged more.
