Faculty in the Media: How Are Fish Farmers Coping with Extreme Drought?

The Czech Republic is suffering from extreme drought. According to hydrologists, this spring ranks among the driest in decades. However, drought does not only affect agriculture and forests – it also significantly impacts water quality, aquatic ecosystems, and fish farming itself.

How are fish farmers responding to this situation, and what economic impacts can be expected? These questions were discussed by our colleague, Ing. Ján Regenda, Ph.D., in the Czech Radio program Odpolední plus. You can listen to the full interview here (available in Czech only).
