How can genetic abnormalities in sturgeons be prevented?

Researchers from FROV JU have found that sturgeon eggs do not always need to be fertilized immediately after stripping – key factors include temperature, handling of the eggs, and sperm quantity. The study provides practical recommendations for a gentler approach to the artificial reproduction of sterlet.
