Autumn at FROV JU traditionally belongs to pond harvests – and this year, the Velký Ústavní pond was no exception. Children from kindergartens and elementary schools in Vodňany came to its banks to see firsthand how fishermen work. The young visitors learned many interesting facts about the life of fish and the harvesting process itself.
Every year, we stock this pond with heavier carp, which we feed throughout the year with special feed and raise using our unique farming technology. This is how Omega3 carp are produced – fish with a higher content of health-promoting omega-3 fatty acids.
And what happens next? The Omega3 carp are sent to the FROV JU processing plant in České Budějovice and then to the Makro retail network.
