We hosted a visit at the Institute of Complex Systems of FFPW USB in Nové Hrady on Wednesday 25. 1. 2023. It was Ing. Markéta Klíčová, Ph.D., a student and a nanofibers specialist from the Technical University of Liberec, a winner of many awards and internship graduate at the prestigious Harvard University in Boston, together with Ing. Peter Hauschwitz, Ph.D., MBA, the leader of the team dealing with laser surface functionalization and micromachining at the HiLASE Centre, a part of the Institute of Physics of the CAS. Both visitors have gained, among other things, a place in Forbes magazine for their achievements. The presentation of our laboratories initiated a fruitful discussion that set the foundations for future collaboration in the development of new biocompatible materials.
