Awards for employees and Ph.D. students of the FFPW USB

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the following students were awarded prizes for the best presentation at Ph.D. seminars during the Meeting of Academic and Scientific Staff and Ph.D. Students of the FFPW USB:
- Augusto Frederico Huber with the title of the paper “Ecological Significance of Claws in Crayfish: Mating, Fecundity and Growth”
- Alan Fritsch with the title of the paper "Using Stable Isotopes to Assess Ontogenetic Shift in Apex Fish Predators“
- Kateřina Karbusová with the title of the paper "Effects of Thyroid-disrupting Chemicals on Fish and Amphibians, Focusing on their Immune Systems“
- Alisa Souček Loginova with the title of the paper "Unlocking the Potential of Novel Dietary Ingredients in Shrimp Aquaculture“
- Thomas Janssens with the title of the paper "Harnessing Novel Microbial Ingredients for Percid Nutrition“
- Václav Kučera with the title of the paper "Enhancement of IPRS Culture of Pikeperch“
- Laurine Mule Mueni with the title of the paper "Effect of Fluid Viscosity on Different Spermatozoa“
- Arpit Sivchandan with the title of the paper "The Dynamic Interplay of Germ and Somatic Cells in Gonadal Tissue Regeneration in Fish“
This meeting was followed by the All-Faculty Meeting of the FFPW USB, where not only the jubilees were awarded, but also the Dean's awards for extraordinary activities were given to the following employees:
