We are excited to share that the Horizon Europe project DIVERSIFY4Future has officially kicked off on 1 June 2026. DIVERSIFY4Future (Diversifying aquaculture for the future: inclusion of low‑trophic species for sustainable, innovative, healthy and circular food systems) is a Horizon Europe Innovation Action under Cluster 6 “Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment”.
The project is Coordinated by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). The consortium has 33 organisations from across Europe and associated countries. The PI from USB FFPW Koushik Roy participated in the three-day kick-off meeting (29/06/2026-01/07/2026) at AUTH, Thessaloniki in Greece. USB FFPW is part of 4 work packages out of 7 in total involved in Circular & Aquaponic fish feeds. The PI discussed the tasks, deliverables, milestones, contingencies, communication & data management plans, and inter-partner cooperation. The website was also launched including the Linkedin group.
