Business trip report, Germany, Náhlík

On 21 May 2025, the PhD students, together with Vít Náhlík, participated in a workshop on Fish Welfare in different salmonid farming technologies, within the Fish Welfare Education project at the German farm Lindergmühle, located just over the border from Železná Ruda.

A total of 26 people from the FFPW USB and staff from the Bavarian Forest National Park, who are active in the field of education, participated in the workshop. The lecture and introduction to salmonid species was followed by a tour of the hatchery and outdoor fish rearing facilities, including practical demonstrations. After the workshop, we toured the park museum and outdoor enclosures with wolves and wild horses.
