Business trip report, Slovakia, Mohammadi

During our one-week 13-19.10.2025 visit, we explored the Western Slovakia Museum, the towers of Trnava with a beautiful sunset view, and the Cífer-Pác Archaeopark, which offered vivid insight into Roman-era life. A highlight was that visitors prepared food using stone mills and cooked over wood fires to better understand ancient lifestyles. We also attended workshops on environmental sustainability.

We visited the Gerulata Museum, Bratislava Castle, and the Roman sites of Komárno and Iža along the Danube River. As fisheries students, we gained a new understanding of traditional fishing practices, as the Danube was a major center for fishing and livelihood in ancient times. We observed historical fishing tools and equipment preserved in museums and archaeological collections. The Brigetio Museum used modern technologies and interactive displays to enhance learning.

This experience broadened our understanding and perspective on cultural heritage and strengthened international academic connections.
