From March 2 to 4, 2026, I participated in an international training course at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava. The training focused on the operation and use of Orbitrap ExplorisTM 240 mass spectrometer. The program also included practical training in the use of Xcalibur and TraceFinder software for processing and evaluating measured data. An important part of the training was becoming familiar with the technology for the preparation, optimization, and use of boron-doped electrodes, which we will utilize in our experimental work as an advanced technology for the removal of persistent pollutants from water. The training contributed to deepening knowledge of working with advanced analytical instrumentation, data evaluation software, and advanced electro-oxidation processes for water treatment, which will be applied in future experimental work in the laboratory.
