From 8 to 12 June, Ganna Fedorova visited the Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala, Sweden. The mobility was supported by the Erasmus+ program.
During the visit, Ganna delivered a lecture entitled "Risk Assessment of Pharmaceuticals in Wastewater Reuse: A Case Study", presenting the results of a one-year study investigating pharmaceutical contaminants in an aquaculture pond system receiving reclaimed wastewater.
The program also included visits to the department's laboratories and discussions with researchers on current projects and analytical approaches used in aquatic environmental research. A substantial part of the stay was dedicated to collaborative work on the data interpretation. The discussions helped advance the evaluation of the results and provided a basis for future scientific publications and continued cooperation between the two institutions.
