Laboratory of Intensive Aquaculture
International Cooperation
Academic and research staff together with PhD students from the Laboratory of Intensive Aquaculture regularly participate in European and international conferences and workshops organised by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS). Tomáš Policar is an active member of EAS and the contact person of this organisation for the Czech Republic. Tomáš Pěnka and Laura Ostolaza Perez‑Cruz are active members of the EAS student section, in which they represent the Czech Republic.
Since 2012, Tomáš Policar has been the founder of the specialised EAS expert group European Percid Fish Culture, which brings together and coordinates all major producers and research institutions in Europe engaged in innovation in the culture of percid fish.
