The 20th jubilee toxicological conference „Toxicity and Biodegradability of Matters Important in Aquatic Environments“ took place at the FFPW USB large lecture hall at the MEVPIS centre from 24th to 25th August 2022 (40 participants, 21 lectures).
The student competition “Price of Prof. Vladimír Sládeček” has also been a part of this conference since 2005. This year the evaluation committee awarded first place to MSc. Martina Poncarová (FS USB) with contribution „Acute toxicity effects of atorvastatin and its photoproducts on three levels of aquatic food web“, the second place to Ing. Alžběta Strouhová (FFPW USB) and the third place to MSc. Petra Mikušová (RECETOX Brno).
