Czech carp – tradition, quality and pride

The Czech carp is a symbol of Christmas and the pride of generations of fish farmers. Today, however, it must withstand the fight against cheaper foreign competition, the impacts of climate change, piscivorous predators and growing demands on ecology, animal protection and competitiveness. Will it be possible to preserve the tradition that is part of our cultural heritage?
